The Anchor House

Surrounded by warm crystal clear oceans, verdant mountains, lush vegetation and cooled by gentle trade winds, the island of Kauai is the northern most of the Hawaiian island chain.  

Known as “the Garden Island” it is a popular destination for those looking for a tropical getaway and said to be as close to paradise as can be found on Earth. And it is also the home to The Anchor House, School of the Bible which opened in the fall of 2022.

Located in the Poipu area on the south side of the island and less than a mile from the beach, the beauty of God’s unique creation is a perfect place to grow, learn, explore, serve and make life long friends.

From September to May, The Anchor House runs a one-year Bible school designed for those 18 and older.

Designed to deepen your faith through Christ-centered Bible training and hands on practical experience the Anchor house will help you build a strong foundation for the future whether in further schooling, a trade or everyday living.

What You Will Study

During your time at the Anchor house you will dig deep into the Scriptures by studying various New and Old Testament books as well as courses in Apologetics, Christian Living, Early Church History, Science and Faith…and more, taught by both local staff and visiting lecturers.

Our goal is to impart Biblical knowledge and an understanding of how the indwelling Christ lives His life through you that will equip you to navigate whatever is in store for you ahead in life.

The Anchor House is privileged to offer a wide variety of exceptional teachers who make each semester a cornucopia of solid Biblical truth, well communicated and designed to engage and inspire those who have come to learn. Accenting our solid base of local communicators are men and women who are guest lecturers from a wide array of disciplines, experiences, countries and ministries who will be crossing the oceans to join the teaching team at the Anchor House.
